
SiO3P provides trauma-informed behavioral-health services and specialized parenting education to support individual and family well-being. Our programs improve emotional functioning, family stability, safety, parenting capacity, and long-term independence. The team carries the belief that people can rise again after hardship, just as the sun rises after darkness and the phoenix emerges renewed from the fire.

Veronica Stein MSFP
Owner and Co-Executive Director
Veronica brings a powerful blend of clinical expertise and educational insight to her work. With a background in forensic psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavioral support, play therapy, and trauma informed practice, she approaches every family through an inclusive, compassionate lens.
She her comprehensive experience as a teacher provided her with a deep understanding of the workings of schools, service systems, and community agencies operate. Knowledge she now uses to advocate fiercely for equitable access, proper accommodations, and meaningful education opportunities for families navigating special needs.
Driven by both passion and purpose, Veronica's leadership combines clinical precision with creative program development. Her vision ensures that SiO3P remains a space where every individual feels seen, supported, and safe to rise again.
Lynn Stephens M.Ed., LSW
Co-Owner and Co-Executive Director
Lynn is a licensed special education teacher and licensed social worker with extensive expertise in parenting education, child and family therapy, individual and group psychotherapeutic interventions. She has experience designing and facilitating evidence-based programs, for individuals and groups, in alcohol and substance use recovery, grief support, trauma recovery and support, group psychotherapeutic activities for seniors - all grounded in trauma-informed, science-backed best practices.
Drawing upon extensive experience working within mental-health agencies, medical facilities, Children and Youth Agencies, and community support services, Lynn has trained on and implemented these evidence-based, trauma-informed, science-backed programs that help individuals build safe, stable, and nurturing environments.
Her commitment to ensuring families have access to high quality, evidence-based support inspired her to train in the Step By Step Program and bring it to the region. In partnership with Veronica and Brittany, she has expanded those services to reach a broader portion of the community - strengthening family systems and empowering positive generational change.
Brittany Breeden LSC
Co-owner and Operations Director
Brittany is a licensed school counselor with deep trauma-informed expertise in family systems intervention, play therapy, and eclectic counseling modalities. Her approach bridges therapeutic insight with data-driven program management to ensure families receive consistent, high-quality support throughout their parenting education journey.
As Director of Operations, Brittany's organizational and analytical strengths shine. She excels in research, writing, and the collections, analysis, and application of program data - ensuring continuous evaluation and improvement of outcomes. her ability to translate data into actionable strategies directly enhances program effectiveness and family success.
Brittany also oversees report integrity and compliance, ensuring all documentation aligns with program standards and agency requirements. She serves as a key liaison between therapeutic and educational services, coordinating communication among Step By Step Parenting Education staff, referring agencies, families, and the courts. her unwavering focus on quality, consistency, and collaboration reinforces the reliability and credibility of every service offered through SiO3P.
Samantha Harper
Parenting Education Program Coordinator
Sama has a long-standing commitment to supporting families and strengthening community programs. With a deep understanding of family needs and agency collaboration, she consistently enhances the quality and reach of parenting education services. her strengths include identifying services gaps, coordinating resources, training staff, implementing and scheduling programs, and maintaining clear, effective communication with referring agencies and team members.
As Program coordinator, Samantha oversees parent educators and educational services, ensuring seamless coordination between Sunrise Step By Step Parenting Education and other SiO3P divisions. Her strong organizational skills and compassionate leadership keep programs running smoothly and families fully supported.
